Mt Kilimanjaro – Uhuru Peak – highest point in Africa

Kilimanjaro – Summit!  Uhuru peak – 5895m

Kilimanjaro – Baranco camp (3950m)

Today the walk got steeper and very scenic, along narrow valley ridges and over rocky sections towards the Moorland zone and to Baranco camp (3950m).  Sean called to say ‘happy days at Baranco camp.  Everyone is strong’.

Denali – Talkeetna

The group have just arrived safe and sound in Talkeetna – after a 14 hour descent. They were off to go and have their first proper meal – pizza.

Denali – Summit – 20,320ft (6,194m)

They summited on Wednesday evening!  Sean phoned from the Denali pass 9am (our time) to say they were on their way down from the summit. They are absolutely exhausted and will crash at the High Camp for a while before heading down.
