Most people head towards Lukla with a heavy heart…whilst looking forward to the luxury of a five star hotel. Tonight will be spent celebrating with the sherpas and the porters who make the trip possible by guiding and lugging everyone’s gear to Gorek Shep. Tomorrow, if the weather is clear, is another opportunity to enjoy the flight back to Kathmandu whilst saying goodbye to the hills…
