I well remember getting into Karanga camp and (after a fabulous meal as always from chef Salvatore) heading for an afternoon nap! It was SO needed by this stage :) And the views from Karanga of Mt Meru (and being above the clouds) are just phenomenal…hope all of you have some energy to appreciate the views. Thinking of all of you – Dad, I am SOOOOO proud of you! And Jono, Suz and Mike – woohoo, onward and upward! Love to all of you

We getting stuck into the egg curry for dinner, the tents have been spaced nicely. Everyone doing sooooo well, bengi is our inspiration. Everyone tried to get a doss in this afternoon, with little luck, so happy sacky up to 21 kicks had to do. Mike has an endless endless endless supply of food, so we are snacking up the mountain..he is also the teams massage king. Everyone happy, cheerful and expectant. Will keep u up to date

We are all breathlessly following the group’s progress :) I remember mike also had the best supply of food trekking to everest base camp last year! Risk more than others think is safe. Care more than others think is wise. Dream more than others think is practical. Expect more than others think is possible. Benjie we are proud of you, and all the others on the mountain. Peak Hazyview.
