Ac – Camp Canada

Despatch from Sean: This morning (Sat) was warmer than we expected. Just below Zero. Everyone had a great nights sleep except me. Adjacent my tent there’s a snorer… a real snorer. The sort that sounds like a 3 month old baby crying. Incessantly! So my night was fraught with attempts to block the din. Ever tried tying socks over your ears? Used ones?
Anyhow everyone is in great spirit and we headed out for Camp Canada at 4850m on an acclimitisation climb. Excellent weather and a great stretch of the pins and ‘shake down’ for what lies ahead -2300 vertical metres of huffing and puffing. Lets hope the snorer has headed up in that direction.
Watced a documentary on ALIVE this morning. Have even more respect for anyone taking on any icy mountain. Be safe and enjoy.@Bernhard – have you seen that Yeti yet.
have a nice sunday to all
