Mt Aconcagua – day 5

Written By: sean on January 2, 2014 4 Comments

Today the group are doing an acclimatisation trek to Plaza Francia at 4200m and will spend a bit of time there getting used to the thinner air. They will descend back to Confluencia this afternoon and rest well before the long day ahead tomorrow trekking up to Plaza de Mulas (base camp).

Great to hear from you guys. Hope everybody did well on the trek to Plaza Francia. Good luck for the trek to Plaza de Mulas tomorrow. Hopefully Molly got her gear and Johan and Suzie are doing well?

Baas Nolan, jy moet skerp wees ne’. Spent the morning at the Pickled Pig in Parys checking out platteland weekend outings we can do this year that don’t involve you hanging off some precipice. Enjoy boet and tread bloody carefully.
