They’ve arrived at the High Camp and last camp before the summit attempt.  It’s been epic battle said Sean. Their 2 stoves packed in which could have been a disaster but they’ve managed to get them working again.

The stretch to th High Camp is the most scenic part of the route. The terrain was quite steep in sections as they weaved in and out of the rocks and sometimes walked along knife-edge ridges.  At the High Camp their tents need to be fortified to withstand the incredibly high winds.   They now hunker down and wait for a weather window to attempt the approximately 9 hr summit bid which at this stage looks like it might happen on Friday morning, unless the weather clears before then.
