Just in from Sean: We reached the summit at 7.15am SA time. Hard night but we all got there! Everyone is hammered but we’re safely on our way down… When we left Barafu at 23h45 last night, there was a big cloud over the summit as well as being windy. It was a very long night but 7 successful, exhausted summiteers proudly held the Autism Western Cape flag at the summit. Lots of tears and man hugs at Stella Point and Uhuru Peak.
We will be leaving Barafu after a few hours much needed rest at 2pm to join William at Mweka camp.
Congratulations to all!!!
Well Done guys we are so proud of you all, what a tremendous effort. Thank you Sean for being a great Team Leader and getting our lads to the TOP safely!
