The team will depart Base Camp today and will climb to Nido where they will overnight. Tomorrow the plan is to climb to Camp Colera (5900m), overnight and then if the weather is good attempt to summit early Saturday morning.

Today was a rest day at Plaze de Mulas. Sean called earlier to say they’re all on track and will depart for Camp Nido (5500m) tomorrow. After reaching Nido they’ll head back down to Base Camp.
Sean just called on the satellite phone to say that everyone is well. They had a hard 10.5 hr round trip to Plaza Francia yesterday and that everyone passed their medical tests with flying colours.
