Denali

Team Zulu sports expedition to Denali – 6 of us (Wilmien van der Merwe, Andrew Barnes, Tony Badenhorst, Anthony Rowan, Molly Hegyi and Sean) on our way to climb the highest mountain in North America – Denali 6194m (Mt McKinley). Curtain raiser for Mt Everest in 2015. Gear shopping proper in Seattle last week.

Kilimanjaro – summit Uhuru Peak – 5895m

Message from Sean this am ‘It was Cath’s birthday yesterday. We celebrated last night with candles, cake and warm Irish whiskey.  Everyone was in bed by 8.30pm.  This morning we woke up to an awesome view of the summit dome.  Everyone is ready to climb the Barranco wall’.
