‘We’re at 3800 meters and it’s snowing like Christmas. Our gift today was the magnificent view of the Caucasus mountain range. Everyone is tucked in camp on the glacier – eating our dinner of smash and tea. Viv and Michelle are giggling – they’re having fun and I’m sure they can’t believe what they’re doing. George was a bit ill earlier on but a nap and antibiotics sorted him out. Franz is snoring already. Everyone is strong – it’s a great group. We have packed down to the bare necessities and I’m loving the minimalism. The Bushtec tents are working really well- many thanks to Andre Naude from Canvas and Tent’.
Am jealous, jealous, jealous! Good luck everyone, hope you all make it to the top!
