Mt Kilimanjaro – Umbwe route

Written By: sean on September 8, 2011 5 Comments

The group departing this Saturday for Kilimanjaro consists of fourteen climbers, mostly from South Africa and four from the UK and Canada. They’ll be feeling excited and nervous about the climb.  A few in the group haven’t climbed to altitude before, but Sean will make sure the pace is slow and comfortable.  He also makes sure everyone eats and drinks as much as possible which is the best way to get up a mountain.  Follow the blog for daily updates and great pics of the climb.
