Sean called yesterday to say all going strong and were on their way to base camp. They had picked up 2 and 1/2 horse shoes (or mule shoes) which he said means good luck for the team. They had done a 10hr round trip acclimatisation walk to Plaza Francia the day before. The weather is perfect – almost too perfect. From the weather forecast it looks like snow this weekend.
Today is rest and relaxation day at base camp.
Moe:
Enjoy the rest day, remember “you don’t away have to push hard, in fact, sometime, that’s not right, to do… and this is team work!!”.
Best wishes to you and your team members.
Watch out for the snow.
