Mt Kilimanjaro – Day 1

After flying through the night from Joburg, the group of 12 climbers (including a 10 year old girl) would have landed at Kilimanajro airport this morning and will now all be resting at the Protea Aishi hotel in Moshi.  3 more climbers will join the group today at the hotel.  No news yet but hopefully all has gone well with the flights and that everyone’s gear bags arrived in Kili.

The climb on the Umbwe route starts tomorrow…
