Lyrical message received from Sean last night! ‘We’re all good here. It’s fresh, we are stinky. It’s cold, we are warm. We are hungy, eating like Lords. We are missing our families buts we’ve become one’.
Yesterday the walk got steeper but very scenic, along narrow valley ridges and over rocky sections towards the Moorland zone. Dinner last night at Baranco camp (3950m). Today the group will ascend the great Baranco wall and then descend to Karanga valley, walk over gently sloped hills and through valleys, up to 4100m for a hot lunch. Dinner and overnight at the spectacular Karanga camp.
What lovely pics of the “mountain” in the background. Hope you are keeping warm … nothing like a nice cuddle :D. Not long to go keep treading carefully. Lotsa luv from all of us in Jozi :-*
