Mt Elbrus – day 3

The group flew from Moscow to Mineralnye Vody (Mineral Water) this morning and then drove for 3 hours to Terskol. Tony, Sean and Dido are frustratingly still without their gear bags. We are all hoping that the bags arrive in Terskol tomorrow during their acclimatisation hike up the ski lift, and along Cheget ridge to about 3400m. Brand new silver studded Russian takkies will be worn instead of hiking boots! The group will return to the Povorot hotel tomorrow afternoon.
