Mt Aconcagua – day 4

The group will have breakfast at the Penitentes hostel and then take a short drive to the Aconcagua Park entrance. Here, the permits are checked by the park rangers and then the trek begins. It will take them about 4 hours to reach camp Confluencia. Mules will transport most of their heavy gear, while they carry a light backpack. Lunch, dinner and overnight at Confluencia. Tent accommodation from here onwards.
Molly’s gear bag is still missing in action!

Sydney sat up in bed last night and pointed at the ceiling saying, is dad up there, when is he coming down? Obviously dreaming about you on top of the mountain! A good sign that you will get there! xxx
