Denali – acclimatisation walk

Written By: sean on May 30, 2014 One Comment

From Molly –  today the team did an acclimatisation walk to 13000ft (4000m).  Conditions are pretty hectic –  there was a white out, it was -41 degrees Celsius and windy.  Tough.  They are all ok and back at Camp 3.  Molly had a little scare and stepped into a small hole in the thick snow.  They are all strong and ready for the ascent.  They are also lessening the load by leaving a cache of supplies at Camp 3 for the return journey next week.
