A Gillette moment! Closest shave ever. We almost missed the flight from Joburg to Zanzibar. Too much time at the Wimpy. 1time airlines are the best and allowed us to board with moments to spare. We stopped off in ancient Stonetown for an ice cold Kili beer and raced back to the airport for our flight to Kilimanjaro via Dar es Salaam. Then we were delayed in Dar. Eysh! Last time I was in Dar es Salaam, George Bush had just arrived. The lads were twitchy to get going. William is a card – loves singing. We finally arrived in Kilimanjaro and drove straight to the Aishi hotel. Exhausted from a hard day’s travelling! Can’t wait to get going tomorrow.
