Sean’s just called to say they summited! He said it was the worst weather he’s experienced in 27 summits of Kili. The weather was so bad that they couldn’t see the sign welcoming climbers to the summit (5895m). Well done to the exhausted team – it was epic.
After a short rest at Barafu, they will make their way down to Mweka camp (3000m) where they will stay tonight.
