Island Peak – Chhukung (4750m)

The group is now conditioned, hardened and rested.  They went from Thangnak over Cho La (pass) and ended up at Dugla.  They overnighted and crossed Kongma La (5535m) the day before yesterday. Yesterday was a rest day in Chhukung. Weather looks good for a push up to Island Peak Base Camp this morning, high camp in the afternoon and summit attempt early tomorrow.
