Ac – Pics of the crew
E-mail from Sean last night (their afternoon) – ‘All good here…everyone well and amped to get going. They rented the gear they needed – crampons, ice axe etc. Everyone loves Mendoza – almost dont want to leave but nice to look forward to…
The gear we flew in was border line (weight wise) and thanks to Malaysia Airlines, we only paid $25 the entire trip…amazing what a bit of charm and being nice can do for the team. The local airlines Aerolineas Argentina were also very kind to us… must be all that clean living…our Kharma is sweet. Off now to Puenta del Inca…next update from me in three days from Plaza de Mulas (Base Camp)…let’s hope for good weather.’
