South Face of Ac

After breakfast the group will head to Plaza Francia (4200m) to see the south side of Aconcagua (the name Aconcagua means ‘the stone sentinel’ in the Inca language).  Spending time at a higher altitude will help them acclimatise as their bodies get used to the thinning air. They will return for another night at Confluencia and then head to Plaza de Mulas tomorrow…
