From Sean ‘Conditions look great on 14th for a summit….we will need to leave Camp Berlin very early on Thursday morning – 2am – because heavy snowfall is expected in the afternoon. I hope it’s not a lightning storm like last year. We may have to bomb back down in deep snow to get to Nido on Friday 15th…’
The crew departs from Base Camp tomorrow morning (Tuesday).

Seano – from St Augustine’s Hospital – blew a valve and sprung an inguinal hernia – too much sandbag and rock carrying over Xmas – meant to ask you before you headed for the summit to look out for a site to build a “beach” cottage for futue family holidays, with a hot tub on the pinnacle! Should be a cinch after what we’ve been through!! Hope all has gone exceptionally well. You would no doubt have been “majestic” getting thru’ all the white “fluff”. Very special best wishes. See ya next week. PAC
