EBC – Deboche to Dingboche (4412m)

The group is now in the heart of the Khumbu, with wonderful views across to Ama Dablam.  Today’s walk takes them along a path that hugs the valley wall then across wide plains to a split in the valley.  The Khumbu breaks left, up to Periche but the trekkers will take a detour right to Dingboche at the start of the Imja Tse valley.

Peter (or Snackpot) as you have named him is my son and I am so enjoying reading the blog! – as is his sister in the US. It is wonderful to be able to see how the ‘trek’ is progressing and the information and descriptions are grest. I am sure Peter is doing his usual thing and Dani will be so strong. I log on every day. Good luck to you all.

Michelle is our daughter and we are also watching her and Marthinus’s progress with great interest. We are not surprised that she is yak-hunting -its in the genes! Pictures are awesome and we are loving being able to follow the path so to speak. Good luck with the rest!
